Delete Your Account

When we process your request, the following are permanently removed from our database:

• Your Aura account (name, email, and role)
• All journal entries, including moods, highlights, and detected traits
• Mood check-in history and session records
• Saved wellbeing check-in results (PHQ-9 / GAD-7 scores and consent timestamps)
• Aura Coach conversation history stored in our systems

Aura Coach messages are processed by an external AI provider. We will request deletion of your conversation history from that provider on your behalf; this may take up to 30 additional days beyond our own deletion, as it is governed by the provider's retention controls.

We retain an anonymised record of your deletion request (without the email address) for up to 12 months for audit and legal-compliance purposes, after which it is permanently removed.

We process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. If you change your mind before then, contact Aura support quoting your email and we will cancel the request where possible.

If you can still access your account, you can delete it immediately from Settings → Delete account — no waiting period applies.
